Trades Assistant

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trades Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kitchen Centre in Launceston. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful delivery of kitchen installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with various tasks
• Prepare and maintain work areas and tools
• Support the team in achieving project deadlines
• Maintain a safe and tidy worksite in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the team

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or in a similar labouring role
• Strong problem-solving and practical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications would be an advantage
