About us
We at J Day Plumbing are a family owned business, looking for a confident and reliable leader to join our maintenance plumbing team.
A majority of our work is located across the inner northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne, specialising in maintenance plumbing for private residential clients, real estate clients and commercial sites.
About the role
We are currently seeking a driven and highly organised Supervisor to lead our maintenance plumbing team. In this role you be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong collaboration between staff and clients.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the plumbing maintenance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, quality, safety and teamwork.
Ensure all plumbing maintenance and repair tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to regulation.
Provide hands-on support for complex plumbing jobs.
Monitor and maintain inventory of plumbing supplies and equipment.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to plan and execute work effectively.
Train and mentor team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
Quoting jobs and ordering materials.
Assist with invoicing and report writing for completed jobs.
Requirements
Licensed plumber.
Experience working as a plumbing supervisor.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and safety regulations.
Proficiency in computer skills including the ability to effectively use software for report writing and data management.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Valid driver’s license
