Horticulturist Landscaper

About the role

Evolve Gardens and Landscaping Northern Rivers' is seeking a talented and passionate Horticulturist / Landscaper to join our team in Ballina, NSW. This full-time role is integral to the continued growth and success of our thriving landscaping business, which specialises in creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with clients to design and plan exceptional landscaping projects, from concept to completion

• Selecting and sourcing high-quality plants, trees, and other landscaping materials to bring clients' visions to life

• Expertly installing, planting, and maintaining a variety of landscaping elements, including gardens, lawns, water features, and hardscaping

• Providing ongoing care and maintenance for established landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy and visually appealing

• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the landscaping process

• Continuously expanding your horticultural knowledge and skills to stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field

• Extensive hands-on experience in the landscaping industry, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results

• Excellent plant knowledge and the ability to select the right species for various soil and climate conditions

• Strong problem-solving and project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

• A keen eye for detail and the creativity to translate client vision into stunning, practical outdoor spaces

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors

• A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate landscaping equipment and machinery safely
